The world spends more than $230 billion a year on that work, and it is still mostly done by hand, one document and one reconciliation at a time.

AI is driving the cost of reconciling a figure to its source toward zero. Every contract can be read, every entry traced, every balance tested, on every engagement.

But more analysis is not the same as more trust. A model can verify a number. It cannot sign an opinion or sit across from a CFO. Trust is still created by accountable people. The limit is no longer how much can be analysed. It is how much of that analysis an accountable person can direct, understand and stand behind.

That is what we build: the AI-native operating system for the firms whose signatures move capital. AI agents execute complete workflows under built-in controls. Professionals step in where judgment is required, and own the conclusion.

We started with financial due diligence, the most compressed and consequential form of verification there is. Statutory audit is next.

👨‍🚀 The Role: Founding Product Designer

You’ll be Opio’s first in-house designer, and you’ll own the Opio experience end to end.

What you’ll do:

• Own product and UX direction: define the principles the product runs on, keep them alive as we ship, and convince the founding team of your calls.
• Design critical flows for a dense profession: put yourself in the shoes of a TS analyst or an auditor, speak their language, and get into the material (accounting, QoE, the audit file) so that every choice holds up in front of a senior professional.
• Design for trust in probabilistic output: how does a professional trust what a model produced? This is the heart of the product, and it is a design problem.
• As the founding designer, you cover everything design at Opio: mostly the product, and also what sits around it when it matters, like the website or an ad campaign.
